Hebron Electricity and "Zorlu" Turkish discuss mechanisms of cooperation in the field of solar energy




The Mayor of Hebron Tayseer Abu Sneineh, the delegation of Turkey from Zorlu Holding, which was headed by the Middle East Director, Polatter. The two sides discussed joint cooperation in the field of electricity production projects through solar energy and the possibility of building future partnership projects with Hebron Electricity. In Hebron attended by a number of members of the Municipal Council and the Director General of Hebron Electricity Engineer Abdul Raouf Sheikh and electrical engineers Hebron and a representative of the Jerusalem Electricity Engineer Ahmed Bazlamit.

In his turn, Abu Sneineh welcomed the guest delegation, explaining the situation of the city of Hebron in general, and praising the importance of projects of electricity production from solar energy, stressing that the municipality works together with all Turkish institutions and municipalities, and appreciated Turkey's support for Palestine in all fields. Noting the keenness of Hebron Municipality and its interest in alternative energy projects.

For his part, Eng. Al-Sheikh gave a brief presentation on the most important achievements of Hebron Electricity, a summary of the problems and obstacles, and the Hebron Electricity Plan for the development of electricity distribution system, and support the construction of intelligent systems and renewable energy projects.

The two sides discussed the progress of the work and presented several data on solar projects proposed over the coming years, and it was agreed to exchange information and data available for the development of projects to be examined later.
